The main areas I can help in are as follows:
Personalisation
This is going to be an increasing priority for all providers. Preparation will be the key. I have developed a programme to help providers in this respect, by both reviewing existing services, and looking at new opportunities. I can assist in also helping organisations identify potential partners, as well as helping to faciitate joint working.
Brokerage.
I have completed National Brokerage Network (NBN) approved training and I am now in a position to offer an independent brokerage service. As East Midlands Regional Co-ordinator for NBN I also organise brokerage training in the region.
Partnership Development.
I have experience of developing and managing partnerships with organisations from the voluntary, private and statutory sectors. Specialisms covered include housing, private healthcare, employment, arts, sport, education and environmental issues. Training

Mentoring/Staff Development
.As an experienced and successful senior manager I am well equipped to provide a tailored service. Investing in experienced external support will help new managers develop and become confident and effective in their roles.
Tender Writing As can be seen from the Home page, I have experience of the management & development of a variety of service types. I can both write tenders and/or advise on tender writing.
Conflict Resolution
Over the years I have successfully developed techniques for managing conflict situations and helping all concerned to see the bigger picture.
Team Building
I can both provide advice on Team Building and run sessions aimed at building on existing experience/knowledge. Such sessions will be planned with individual circumstances in mind.
Environmental Advice
Having led on the development of an environmental strategy for Rethink, I’m excellently placed to advise organisations in respect of this increasingly important work stream.
Project Management
I can both advise on and/or provide a project management service. I am very keen to help with projects which are are designed to maximise User & Carer involvement and learn from User & Carer experiences.
Strategic Planning
I have considerable experience in terms of developing & implementing Business Plans, and can help organisations to develop plans which are both practical & innovative.
Service Reviews
I can carry out an independent review of services. This could be instigated because of concerns regarding the existing provision. However, it could equally be about looking at what the future opportunities could be. For example a service may lend itself to becoming a Social Enterprise. Service Design & Implementation
I have considerable experience of designing services that can meet needs in innovative ways. Such work is always done in conjunction with all stakeholders. I have the ability to also ensure that ideas can be translated into service specifications that can be delivered upon.
Governance Support & Development
Strong governance is vital for all organisations. I have experience of:
· Supporting/mentoring individuals in governance positions.
· Helping governance groups to work effectively by helping people to develop a shared agenda and proactively addressing any difficulties.
· Helping to develop people for governance positions.
